Terms and Conditions for Bookings

The following terms and conditions govern all bookings made with The Mirage, operated by The White Heather (CR) Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 11303634, with its registered office at Caenby Corner, Market Rasen, Lincolnshire, LN8 2AR ("we," "us," or "our"). By submitting a booking request or completing a reservation, you ("the guest" or "you") agree to be bound by these terms. Please read them carefully before proceeding.
1. Booking Process
1.1. Booking Requests: All bookings begin with a request submitted via our website form, phone, or email. Submission of a request does not guarantee a reservation.
1.2. Confirmation: A booking is confirmed only once we provide written confirmation (via email or otherwise) and, where applicable, payment has been processed. We reserve the right to refuse any booking request at our discretion.
1.3. Accuracy: You are responsible for providing accurate details (e.g., name, contact information, dates). We are not liable for issues arising from incorrect information provided by you.
2. Payment
2.1. Deposit: A non-refundable deposit of 25% of the total booking cost is required at the time of confirmation, unless otherwise stated.
2.2. Balance: The remaining balance must be paid in full at least 14 days prior to your check-in date. Failure to pay on time may result in cancellation of your booking, with the deposit forfeited.
2.3. Methods: We accept payment via [insert accepted payment methods, e.g., credit/debit card, bank transfer]. All payments must be made in GBP (£).
2.4. Additional Charges: Any extras (e.g., room service, special requests) incurred during your stay must be settled at checkout unless pre-arranged.
3. Cancellation and Refunds
3.1. Guest Cancellations:
More than 28 days before check-in: Full refund minus the deposit.
14–28 days before check-in: 50% of the total booking cost refunded.
Less than 14 days before check-in: No refund.
3.2. Our Cancellations: If we must cancel your booking due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., force majeure), we will offer a full refund or an alternative date, at your discretion. This is our sole liability in such cases.
3.3. No-Shows: Failure to arrive on the check-in date without prior notice will result in forfeiture of the full booking amount.
4. Check-In and Check-Out
4.1. Check-In: Rooms are available from 3:00 PM on your arrival date unless otherwise agreed. Early check-in is subject to availability and may incur a fee.
4.2. Check-Out: Guests must vacate rooms by 11:00 AM on the departure date. Late check-out may be available upon request, subject to availability and additional charges.
4.3. Identification: Guests may be required to present valid photo ID (e.g., passport, driving license) upon arrival.
5. Room and Spa Usage
5.1. Occupancy: Rooms are allocated based on the number of guests specified in the booking. Maximum occupancy per room must not be exceeded.
5.2. Private Spa: Each room includes access to its own spa facilities. Guests are responsible for using these facilities safely and in accordance with any provided instructions. We are not liable for misuse or accidents resulting from negligence.
5.3. Damage: Guests will be charged for any damage caused to the room, spa, or property during their stay.
6. Guest Conduct
6.1. Behavior: Guests are expected to behave respectfully toward staff, other guests, and the property. We reserve the right to terminate a stay without refund if behavior is deemed disruptive, illegal, or damaging.
6.2. Smoking: The Mirage is a non-smoking venue. Smoking in rooms or spa areas will incur a cleaning fee of £150.
6.3. Pets: Pets are not permitted unless explicitly agreed in writing prior to booking.
7. Liability
7.1. Personal Property: We are not responsible for loss, theft, or damage to guests’ personal belongings during their stay.
7.2. Injury: We are not liable for injury, illness, or death unless caused by our negligence. Guests use spa facilities and the property at their own risk.
7.3. Third Parties: We are not responsible for services provided by third parties (e.g., external vendors) booked through us.
8. Force Majeure
We are not liable for failure to fulfill a booking due to events beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, government actions, pandemics, or utility failures. In such cases, we will endeavor to offer alternatives or refunds as per Section 3.2.
9. Privacy
Your personal data is collected and processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy, available on our website, and complies with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). We use your information solely for booking purposes and will not share it with third parties without your consent, except as required by law.
10. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to amend these terms at any time. The version in effect at the time of your booking applies.
11. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
